Arrived and found drain pan full of water and condensate pump, overflowing. Pulled the float switch on the condensate pump and a condensate pump came on however, even after the condensate pump was empty, it continued to run until I messed with the switch again. Drain line on the condensate pump is very old and runs from the unit all the way across the crawlspace on the left side and then out. Need to install new condensate pump and run new drain line to the right of the unit and out with the line set like it should be Also found filter in the unit has not been changed since 2022 this should have been replaced with install. Installed new pump. Went and got a 20 x 25 x 5” filter and it did not fit. We are going to have to get the exact size shown on the filter that is in the unit. See pictures for size. Informed the customer and she said no problem. We can just swing by and swap it out. No need to call or anything.
Did a great job. Communicated what he found.
Thank you for your kind words, Kirtis! We're glad we could assist you.
Completed maintenance on an American standard gas package unit. Checked all amp draws to the blower and fan motor as well as the compressor all check with in factory specifications. Checked all capacitors, and electrical components and found no issues at this time. Unit is clean on the inside and still looks and is operating like new. The outside of the unit was covered in mud and dirt due to all of the trees and mud on this side of the house. Cleaned outside of unit and is now looking good again. The only recommendations I can make to enhance this unit would be adding a surge protector to protect your investment from lighting strikes and power surges. As well as add an air purifier device to keep the inside of the unit clean as well as providing good clean air into the home. I have attached estimates to the email on file if this is something you would be interested in.
The main level system, had a failed condensate pump and no safety switch to kill the pump in the event of an over flow. I replaced the failed pump and wired in the safety switch to completely lock out the system from running if there is a water drainage issue in the future. I completely reprogrammed both systems and set adjustments for the zone system. Both systems are running and responding correctly in both heating and cooling on call from any thermostat in the house. The safety switches are now wired to shut the equipment down in the event of a problem, if their unit dose not work, it is not a unit failure or a problem with the equipment, it is the water safety switches shutting the equipment down to prevent an over flow of water and flooding. This is by engineering design.
I replaced the secondary condensate pan, added a primary condensate safety switch, and replaced the pan switch. I verified that the unit was operational.
I replaced an old furnace and AC unit with a new Goodman 14.3 Seer2 4 Ton unit. I also installed a new service disconnect for the new unit.
I installed smoke detectors in a residential home.
I replaced a faulty safety switch on the customer’s HVAC unit. The system wasn’t kicking on properly, and after checking everything over, the switch was the culprit. I also added refrigerant—the levels were running low, which would’ve made it tough to keep the house cool as temps go up. After a full system check, it’s now running safe, smooth, and cool.
New HVAC unit has been installed and is fully operational. All functions are running within factory specifications. HVAC installation and startup are successfully completed.
I arrived and found the secondary condensate pan flooded with the system shut down on the pan safety switch. The condensate line was clear, but the evaporator coil was frozen solid, leading to excess water. The system showed signs of low refrigerant charge or possibly a faulty indoor metering device. Due to the system's age and condition, the customer chose to proceed with a new HVAC installation, which was completed successfully. The new HVAC unit is running smoothly.
I can not speak highly enough of this company. I woke up over the weekend to no ac. It was very hot and miserable feeling inside. Bee Kind came out and found 2 issues. They had to order the parts to repair our homes ac. Since the parts had to be ordered they installed window units to keep us cool and sleeping peacefully. When the parts came in Zach, Patrick, and John came back and took care of everything fast. The explained about indoor air quality and how important it is. They had an amazing special going on and installed a uv light and air purifier. So glad to have my ac back and will be using bee kind plumbing, heating, cooling, & electrical in the future! Thank you for being knowledgeable and kind!
Thank you for your kind words! We're glad we could help you get your AC back up and running quickly. If you ever need any more help, don't hesitate to reach out to us.
We replaced the condenser defrost control board, indoor txv and added a Reme Halo whole home air scrubber. We recharged the system back to factory charge and verified unit operation. The unit is currently cooling and operational at this time.

Grateful for the knowledge and insight provided during my seasonal tuneup today. The techs were knowledgeable, clean and polite. They shared items that were in good condition and prepared me for items that will need to be addressed in the next season. I’m pleased with this tech and this company.

A/C compressor fan was not working. Patrick and John provided service the same day I called Bee Kind. They did a great job - I watched and they explained what they were doing throughout the process. Took about 1 hour to diagnose and replace a contactor that had failed. Price seemed reasonable, but I would've liked to have an invoice that listed the cost of the contactor and the labor separately, instead of an invoice that simply listed the total cost. When later looking online at the price of the contactor, it appeared to be much less than what I thought was quoted. Anyway, I was very satisfied with the prompt service.
Thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback and are glad we were able to get your A/C compressor fan fixed quickly and efficiently.
Patrick did a great job checking our unit out,he pointed out several things that our unit was needing. Very professional would recommend him.
